I use a deck of cards. I figure out how many bets I have to place, divide that figure by 50. Each time I place a bet I remove one card from the deck. Each time the deck is used up I recycle it, and make a mental note that I am now on deck 14 or whatever. The 2 extra cards make up for some tiny cover play. [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

I use a pencil, a sheet of paper (although a clay tablet would do just as well), divide gambling requirement by bet size and tally up.

I use the Windows Calculator (works great for flat betting). So, for $5 bets, start with 5, press "+", then for all the other bets press "=". Bet, then press "=". Split, then press "="...etc.

Whenever there is a reasonably accurate comp point counter, I use that.

Otherwise, I use a calculator (95% of them will do this), and input the lowest betting unit, then + + , then = , and from then on every time I hit = it will count one unit.

Uh this is really quite simple..simply check your comp point..its $10 wagered for each comp point.

I just use 10 chips instead of 1000. I move a chip from 1 stack to a second one every time i wager. When I get through 1 stack, thats 10 bets, I move a a chip in another 10 pile stack...when thats done, thats 100 bets. you can repeat this forever (with 40 chips, you can keep track of 10k bets, 50 chips and you can keep track of 100k, etc).

I buy a bag of Nestle chocolate chips and count out the number of chips equal to my wagering requirement.
Every bet I make i stuff that many chips up my arse.
When i'm done I take a nice crap and feel better about life
