Re: sometimes it pays to play tight
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] folding 44 UTG in 30/60 isnt all *that* tight. [/ QUOTE ] that wasn't exactly the point of the post. [/ QUOTE ] Not trying at all to be an ass but I am curious as to what was the point? [/ QUOTE ] dude, if he would have called with 'wired 4's ' he could have won a GINORMOUS pot.. duhduhduhduh.. [/ QUOTE ] So, let me get this right. Every time we fold a hand (appropriately) preflop that makes a monster we should post it here or otherwise give a rats ass? Just rechecked the hand, looks like hero would have taken a big beating here. |

Re: sometimes it pays to play tight
I've seen you fold hands twice that good UTG.
Is there a bad beat jackpot? |

Re: sometimes it pays to play tight
Snakehead, I respect your play and analysis, but this hand history is hard to follow.
A lucky fold! I know that one online room, the jackpot requirement is quad eights or better have to be cracked. Too bad! |

Re: sometimes it pays to play tight
The post was pretty pointless though. The randomization of the cards is time dependent and the flop is not predetermined after the hole cards are dealt. If you had played the hand, the flop would have probably been different.

Re: sometimes it pays to play tight
the entire deck should be randomized before dealing. doing it before every street would be an unnecessary expense of processing time.

Re: sometimes it pays to play tight
I cannot believe this thread. Snakehead posts a funny hand that would have turned out quads over quads over full house. Everyone should have just said "haha, nice fold!" Instead we get a bunch of posts about the format of the hand history and about how the cards are randomized. You all suck at everything.
