Re: Spider 6max hands
Hand 6 - *yawn*
Hand 7 - Well played. This one should serve as a good example of win the most/lose the least. I'm interested to see how many people want to raise this flop. |

Re: Spider 6max hands
Hand 6 looks ok.
Is hand 7 the right time to use the call/call/call line? Any reads on BB here? |

Re: Spider 6max hands
[ QUOTE ]
I would really like to bet the turn on hand 5. No free cards, etc. (And his lack of a pre-flop cap.) An overpair would likely 3-bet the flop or checkraise the turn. If he doesn't 3-bet the flop, bet the turn and see if he checkraises. If he doesn't, you're probably winning. This way you also don't have to worry about getting bluffed out, but I'm assuming you're calling a river bet since you checked behind on the turn. [/ QUOTE ] (hand 5) i figured i scared TT type hands or he has 3 outs.. i hate facing a turn check-raise here.. do you fold? |

Hand 7: Call/call/Call
Ok I'm going to figure this out. You call because you want villain to bluff should he not have the Q and at the same time you save the most money when he does have the Q. Is this right?

Re: Spider 6max hands
This is a toughie. Lemme think about it a little more. I'm actually leaning more toward liking your line now that I've come up with a range of hands for this guy.
To answer your question though, I don't think I'd fold if he check-raised. (Which is why I'm starting to like your line.) Edited - This was about Hand #5. |

Re: Spider 6max hands
On Hand 8 I'd probably raise the flop because I might have the best hand and to see if I get 3-bet. If I get 3-bet I could fold my hand on the turn and save a BB or so.
