The only cash that ever plays is cash in hand. Perhaps let him super-short-buy for the $100, but letting him play cash he hasnt gotten out of the ATM is obviously very poor judgement.

I threw a slight bit of a sarcastic truth about this below. This is done regularly. Let the floor do their job. I tend to think the people most often running the room, can run the room. I try not to tell the mechanic how to fix my car. I certainly dont ask him "what if the new plug wires you put in are broke?"

Just let the pros do their jobs and allow them to also correct a mistake before you decide they are unworthy.

Knowing now that the house would guarantee this, I'm fine with it. Just never have seen this situation before.
