Re: Should I have gotten away from this?
raise the flop, remember you have QQ, don't become weak and passive just because a king came on the flop, show agression at the beginning where its cheap, and adjust for the turn/river

Re: Should I have gotten away from this?
[ QUOTE ]
Raise the flop. If villain 3-bets, I'd call down from there. [/ QUOTE ] Definitely bet if checked to, but I think I like just calling down here. The reason is that if you're 3-bet, you're going to hate calling down. And if you're not 3-bet, you may have given the LAG just enough to give up on the hand. |

Re: Should I have gotten away from this?
I would raise the flop. Otherwise you have no information other than a PF 3-bet to tell you what he's holding.

Re: Should I have gotten away from this?
I agree with raise the flop. However, if 3-bet call down? That's what he did anyway. Why reraise if you're not going to use the information gained.
Fold to the 3-bet and fight another day. Unless, of course, you're playing an uber-LAG that would 3-bet JJ with a K on the board, in which case you're going to war with any hand you'd play. |

Re: Results

He's not playing the right way. [/ QUOTE ] He's playing exactly the right way...the way you want a LAG to play. The L stands for loose, that A stands for aggressive. Once in a while he wins, usually here he's holding bottom pair and gets all excited when the second pair comes on the board to give HIM AND HIM ALONE two-pair. |
