Morongo only had about 10-12 poker tables with no additional room. The remodel was a waste of time and money.

not bad, but on par with something like the old Vegas Strip casinos - The Aladdin

Um, you do know the Aladdin was built in 2000 right? You consider 5 years as old? lol You must consider the Bellagio as ancient since that opened a year or so before that.

they moved out of the poker room that was built for the new hotel. There is a room that is on the right after you enter the main door, its right there, I saw the original room, it was empty, it was very small, a waste of money unless they do somethign good with it.

Okay, if we're strictly talking poker rooms, yes, Pechanga has more tables and a lot of fish - so if that's your main reason for visiting either casino, go to Pechanga.

But I thought it was obvious from my original post that I was describing the whole Morongo "experience." Which I liked. A lot.

I remember playing a Craps game at Barona that used cards, but also had dice. You would roll the dice and the numbers that were rolled would be matched with the 6 cards. In essence a card game that played as close to real Craps as you can get.

Went to Morongo a few months and it was a waste of time. 4+ hour waits for poker games. I don't understand rebuilding a casino a making it small. Poker room is small, no tables to start new games. I won't be returning.

ok shut up already. you obviously don't know wtf your talking about. they built a NEW poker room in NEW morongo. this one opened up a few weeks ago. theres around 25 tables now. its still a little smaller then viejas's poker room.

i just got back from morongo. the new poker room is pretty nice. its not all jammed up and crowded like before. the waiting lists are better, i walked in and got a 3/6 seat within 5 mins. 3/6 only had 1 person infront of me on the wait list. the list for the other games were still pretty sizeable though. i use to absolutley hate morongo because of the small room and riduclious waiting lists. but now its bareable. i was only there to clear my monthly coupons. but i think i'll go there more often now. their 3/6 games are always extremely soft. their service sucks balls though. they have like 2 cocktail waitresses working the entire room. after you manage to get ahold of one, you have to wait another fuking hour just to get your drink. you still can't order food at the tables but at least they allow you to eat at the tables now. i still really wish they would get the shufflers though, would speed up the games so much. well its 6am and im off to bed.

What's the rake at Morongo? Same as Bike/Commerce, or no Jackpot drop?
