Nothing beats a disk reformat and XP reload.

It's like a clensing of the soul, only not as messy.
I've been itching to do one myself.

Serious question though, how do I delete the Party and Empire links from Internet Explorer's "Tools" menu?

It's a regedit thing:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Extensions

Yeah, we'll need a screen shot to even start to figure it out

go to download.com and get spybot. you probably have some other kind of spyware you need to get rid of. it's a free software and works really well.

If spyware is the issue, you should also know about these utilities:

Ad-Aware
AdsGone
Hijack This (Direct Download Link)

This is a great little utility, but it isn't for those who don't know what they are doing.

If you use it, make sure you understand what you are removing and changing.

EXCELLENT THANKS!

btw I currently use AdAware, Spybot and Spysweeper as well as Norton Antivirus, Microsoft Software firewall and a Netgear hardware firewall so I feel pretty comfortable about the protection of my system.

I can't get into Firefox though. I'm currently using Netcaptor and Avant (multitabbed IE based browsers) as my main web browsers.

Thanks again!!!
