Is this against other good players whom he plays with regularly? I can't imagine this is a good idea against recreational players.

It was in a casino against recreational players and one or two locals. I've tried it.... and oddly nobody seems to care. I have even stopped mid hand to right down the previous hand's play, and I have yet to see an odd look in any way shape or form.

Wait, can't you just get the dealer to email you the hand histories?

That feature is currently unavailable, and has been for more than a year even though there is still a menu item for it at the table. [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

thanks for the replies and links guys. If I were a live pro and lived near a casino I could see keeping notes on everyone that I played regularly, but since I'm not I think I'll just stick with the basics.

I knew that there was a standard, but I just didn't know what it was. Again, thanks for the resources.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't I hear that pokercharts was going to begin charging for their services? FYI, I use excel, you can have as much or as little info as you like other than the mandatory, $won/lost, date, limit, session duration, location.
