Before this post gets ridiculously long and my post gets lost in the midst of it I'd like to ask this question to anyone who can answer it. I tried searching the archives for the answer, but my search results were so numerous that there was no way I could sort through them all to determine which had relevant information.
Anyways, I was just looking for information on what these open challenges were all about? I see them all the time and I assumed they were some kind of contest to see who can play the most hands? I really don't know much more than that though. Could someone tell me a little bit about them? Who can enter? What's the risk/reward? What are the rules? And any other information you think a newbie would need to know. Thanks in advance. |

You pretty much have it. At the beginning of the month, you're paired with another opponent, seeing who can play the most hands that month. People are grouped by expected # of hands (e.g., I expect 12-15K this month, so Cnfuzzd pairs me up with someone else with a similar expectation).
Each week, you report in the # of hands you've played thusfar that month - it's on the honor system, though you can submit a PokerTracker screenshot, if you wish. Winner gets to choose the avatar/location for the loser. That's about it. |
