I thought you were calling the flop to raise the turn. I think this is too passive. If UTG has a 4 you may have pacified yourself out of the pot.

I still think raising the flop is much better than raising the turn here.

I agree but there needs to be a raise somewhere and I just thought that was hero's plan in the first place.

That was my plan, but I picked up a gut-shot and I didn't want to open the action up to UTG again (or the BB, for that matter).

Ent, why do you think raising the flop is better than waiting?
