My first rant. Looking for advice.

Fair enough. I was just going on forum experience, since you said when people post that they are on a downswing it is usually bad play. I don't doubt that I probably have some leaks in my game, but a lot of my losing has been to bad beats. AKs against AQs all-in PF, etc.

i have been reading the forum for a long time, but just started posting. that thing about bad beats happens to all of us, but it all evens out. Good luck, I hope things get better for you

do you gamble alot when you play? i know you have to gamble some, but at low limits i wait until i have way the best of it before i play a real big pot (ie, i rarely raise or push a draw at these levels). if you do you will obviously have big swings.

i personally often get timid and may stop reraising with AK or stop rasing with AQ when i'm losing. i know this is negative EV but it keeps me off megatilt and softens my downswing. (i still think its a bad idea, mind you). just wondering if your play is affected when you are down.

Sometimes I will loosen up a little more and start playing Qxs, 1 and 2 gapped SCs, so yea you could say I gamble a little bit. This is bad, I should stop.
