if you want CO to think you are stealing then you should bet because that is what you do when you steal. but considering that he open limped K8o from the CO then i think there is certainly a 0% chance that he understands the concept of stealing.

I've corrected your post above.

I bet the flop, because checking through is obvious and I want to call his checkraise if that's what he's doing. Other posters have already explained this line and I use it too.
