Ok then I guess you decided to give him 2 more bb when you knew you were beat. This sounds like it could be a leak.

Um yeah.

I'm sorry Buster, but you give such deplorable strategy advice I can't really take anything you say seriously. You clearly hate me too much to have an intelligent discussion on any hand I post, so maybe just move on.

Also, I hope you're not still cheating by asking for advice from friends while playing online. One player to a hand and all that ...

I don't think he has a spade draw or a made boat, so your 6 outs are clean (4 tens, 2 aces) -- he could already have a made straight, which means a T only chops it. But more than likely he has a J that he decided to wait for the turn to raise. It's annoying, but the turn is a clear call with 6 pretty good outs.

On the river, it comes down to the read. I don't think there's a huge difference between calling and folding, really. You're getting 9:1 and your hand is probably good like 5-10% of the time, so it's close to neutral in my mind.

Pff. I agree you're very likely to be beat. Id still call down. I don't fold AA like ever. Also you have maybe one out in the 10, and 2 ace outs, tho they might not be in the deck. I admire people that fold this, it probably saves them some money. I wouldn't however.

there's a lot of semibluffing potential on the board. you also have 6 outs if behind. pretty standard call down. nice hand

Thank you, that was an excellent response and very much in line with my own thinking. The turn sort of had to be called, I think, but the river was a close one.

I'd call down again if I had it to do over.

Thanks. I don't know if I can stay reasonable for much longer though, as my prescriptions have almost run out ...

My response to these results in white below:

I hope you made a note that this jackstick doesn't 3-bet preflop with a monster like QQ -- probably saved you 2 small bets by just cold-calling

I did, Private. More in white below.

My read on him changed a lot based on this hand. I am trying to discern whether he is more passive than I gave him credit for, whether he has FPS, or whether he has enormous respect for my raises. I think it is FPS. I have 3 other hands where he's done FPS things like limp reraised with AA and slowplayed bottom set.
