1. Guardian Legend
2. TecmoBowl
3. Megaman 2
4. RBI Baseball
5. Mike Tyson's PunchOut

Super Mario Brothers should be in there, but I'm having a hard time placing it exactly. Also, I don't know how this got to be its own post - it was supposed to be an edit of the last one.

4 fat guys were the worst combo. They never touched the puck b/c they were so slow. Opponent just passed and passed at will.

Fav party was the bench-clearing brawls, and at the end of it the ref would go into the scrum and get 2 players to put in the penalty box, and it was always suspenseful waiting to see who he pulled out cuz more often than not he'd somehow grab two guys on your team. doh!

Agreed w/ RBI baseball, and my bad on excluding Zelda.

I'm talking ORIGINAL 4-bit Nintendo, even before Super Nintendo.

I'll throw out a few classics for general consideration (ranked roughly by my enjoyment):

1. Blades of Steel
2. Final Fantasy
3. Ice Hockey (challenge anybody here to tell me why 1 fat guy, 1 skinny guy, and 2 medium guys wasn't the best combo)
4. NHL 94 (unsurpassed by any subsequent NHLs -- better than 93 b/c it had one-timers, better than 95 and later versions, b/c it still had fighting and blood)
5. Megaman 2 (anybody?)

[/ QUOTE ]

Final Fantasy and Megaman 2.
