I think DD did a good job summarizing, though I did have a rib him a little for bluntness. I think you need to reevaluate this statement above though. From what you wrote, I seriously doubt you are a winning player.

I am not trying to be mean, just honest. When I first posted here and asked what to do to win (similar post to what you made in some ways) someone told me I probably suck at poker. I took that to heart. Before you can start winning you have to admit you suck right now. This is not what you want to hear, err... read, I know, but it is probably the truth. It's not an insult. At one time or another we all suck at poker. We don't start playing as good players. This is not a knock on you.

But seriously, the first step to becoming a good player is to accept the fact that you probably suck so you can build your game from the ground up.

It's worse than you think! Desert Diamond has automatic shuffle machines in EVERY TABLE now, and still people ask for setups!! If only they didn't suck so bad then I could just tell them off :P
