edge spots cool, mold not cool, inlay is ridiculous. final verdict on the 24th when they arrive at my house.
Hopefully thier feel and sound will make up for the disaster that seems to have occured with these chips |

Pity.
I generally prefer the smaller inlays on the PaulSons, but that's with the older H&C molding with the concentric groves. It's like they took a grand inlay compatible mold and stuck small inlays in them. Doesn't work, does it? |

What's this inlay then? I've seen about 4 sizes of inlays for Paulson chips.

To my knowledge, there are 3 different styles:
Standard Grand Giant The one you posted is the Giant inlay. J5 |

Yeah, I could see from the sample Paulson home chips (on Apache/Dice702's site for a while, and also the chips on John's pokerchipreviews.com video) that this new mold was built around the middle-sized Grand inlay (1-1/16").
The original mocked-up drawings showed the traditional-sized (Standard 7/8") Bond inlays, and also showed the Standard-inlay mold. But they didn't come out this way! Once the Bond chips came out, they were using the Standard inlay inside the larger Grand inlay cavity. Go figure! |
