It seems next week's show is supposed to be the "big game" to them From what I read though, they were playing towards the "world championship", which would seem to be how the series will conclude.

and another thing,
nichols beats up the 2 thugs, grabs the guys by the nuts and starts squeezing, gets the info he needs then proceeds to go for the guys cash.
the guy says "what are you doing?"
1. hes doing whatever he wants at this point because you just got your ass kicked and youre laying on your back.
2. why does the guy care as long as he isnt squeezing is nuts anymore?
3. how is the guy still conscious?

Sorry, but I think Madsen is actually doing the worst job on this show. Every single line he says is over-acted to the nth degree. His contrived gravely whisper, his ridiculous eye-squint / head bob every time he opens his mouth... He's making the "Crapper" look like Deniro.

Lee Nichol is brutal as well. He's playing like an angry retard who can't get the square peg into the wrong hole. He's giving WWF style staredowns to random old ladies to get information.

I'm waiting for Vince McMahon to pop out from under the table.

Tilt seems to be doing good in the ratings department and it looks like a hit, but how in the world are they going to extend the series to more than 1 season? or did they already have an agreement that Tilt is just a 1 season show?

"Moving all in is the most powerful play in poker. You can break someone or lose everything" or you can tie and have a split pot.

Am I the only one who thinks the matador isnt winning that much more money by cheating then if he would play straight up. I mean how is knowing that the 7 of clubs is a dead card and so that the whale actually has 0 outs instead of 1 help him? Would he have thrown the boat away if he did have one out. Why do i shave my testicles? Are you bitches starting to undastand me. yo im out

[ QUOTE ]
"Can you believe it? She walked away from the nuts."

No. She did not. 44 (quads) and 8d9d (straight flush diamonds to the jack) both beat her.

[/ QUOTE ]

1. It's a dramatic TV show. Not a poker tutorial.

2. As far as the other guy is concerned, any hand that
beats his flush is "the nuts."

3. It's also possible for the guy not to know that Jacks over 4s are not the nuts.

4. I've seen this mistake made every single day at the poker table - someone calling a hand "the nuts" when it isn't. So maybe "Tilt" is actually more realist in the poker sense than you're giving it credit for.

I think one of the best (worst) was in the first episode where Cueball Stare-Em-Down talked about being taken out "ninja-style." He was dead before he even felt the knife.
