I'm not very good at limit poker, so I want to make sure I understand this correctly: If you're facing a raise, and you think it's going to get threebet and capped behind you, with one of your two opponents having your hand crushed, then you should smoothcall in order to see the flop cheaply.

Nice to see you made it to 5-10. Are they keeping your 3-6 seat warm?

"You lost $4500 tonight and I won about $500, so maybe you, too, are not someone from whom I should be taking advice."

Capping the river by MP2 was so moronic that I think, that he misread his hand and thought he had a straight.

Re: How do I love thee, Party, let me count the ways ... (low content)
seriously what the hell. you keep on adding on these different things just to make your play look better. if in the original post you had mentioned that the button was a maniac and that utg always limps utg with big monsters, nobody would really give you that hard of a time. but all the sudden when people call you out on it you just mention it after the fact like we were supposed to know.
and if you really did in fact believe that utg had a big hand and would limp-reraise the maniac's preflop raise, then why not just fold? oh btw. utg DIDN'T limp-reraise so i guess he didn't have it did he? just because you've seen a guy limp utg a couple times before with big hands doesn't mean he'll always have it there. oh btw, thats really classy comparing our status with how much money we make or lose in a given day. tell me when you even get the chance to lose $4,500 in one session, THEN maybe you can start comparing, but in the mean time enjoy your little 500 dollar win at 5/10. i remember a time when that was a lot for me too chump. |
