Default NL Tourney - Did I trap myself?

Played in a $100 buy in NL tourney - 10,000 chips to start and 27 total players. We recently re-drew for seats and have not been playing with most of my table but I know most of them to be solid including the players in the hand. We’re down to 14 with blinds of 1,000/2,000, play has been fairly tight. I have 14,500 and its folded around to me in on the button. I look down to see KJo. Both the SB and BB have me covered and the BB is the large stack at the table.

To me this is an easy raise situation, regardless of oppenent’s chip stack. I raise to 6,000. The SB (who I don’t have much of a read on) pushes allin. BB folds.

So two questions:
1 – What would your initial play be on the button?
2 – Assuming a raise of 6,000, do you call all-in?
