No, I think there is some value.....

At any rate, I LOVE having 1 (even 2) Brandoxxxx, Danxxxx, or Maximaxxxx at my table. They are predictable and I find it easier to control the table when one is present.

Agreed. Be well.

i think it's more hilarious that you are datamining .50/1

honestly, the limits are so ridiculous it's not worth it. also i see datamining as the new crutch, and i think a lot of people are so dependant on it that they aren't really able to think for themselves and maximize their earn.

I completely agree with this. Pokertracker is right up there in crutch-land, too...folks see their VPIP, PFR, and AF in the acceptable ranges but don't dig more deeply and wonder why they are still losing their shirts at the Crypto GBP 1/2 tables...

Very good point. I actually find myself starting to feel this way.

Do/Have you datamined?

i haven't datamined, i haven't used gametime or playerview, and i use pokertracker but mainly just for my own stats, not other players' stats, and stuff like my winrate, etc.

I haven't datamined and have no intention of doing so (1/2, 2/4). Why? I think that on those levels the value of the information is very small (the PT information you get while at the table with opponents is enough) and more importantly I found that there is a danger of staring at PT stats too much. I use Gametime+ but not after five orbits at a table. I want those five orbits to make my own observations about the other players and their style. When I relied too heavily on PT to keep track of my opponents I missed a lot of information.

You could be doing better things with your time than datamining .50/1

datamining the higher levels seems more productive to me...so you don't waste time when you want to move up
