that was weak of her slowrolling the AK on the J7777 board

[/ QUOTE ]

I cant believe that guy would actually put all of his money in like that knowing any Ace had him beat, I know the girl lured him to do it, but how dumb can you be ?

[/ QUOTE ]

The writers are weak. The board should have been K7777 and then it would have made some sense.

it made no sense. i'm also, btw, not sure she should have called on the turn. right? at that point, he could have had any 7, J, or pair to have her beat, and it was going to cost her all her chips to see a showdown. any thoughts on an actual poker question?

Maybe she could see through the other guy's hole cards like the guy in the first episode. Yeah, that's it. She had an amazingly accurate read on the guy. She stared into his randy soul and saw that he was dominated. I mean, he was just absolutely throwing off tells saying "I've got a KQo and a short, mushy johnson."

Yeah, that's it.

I think the "luck" line is really ESPN's way of showing us that the Matador's character is really based on Phil Hellmuth. Who knows, maybe Phil is really a badass off camera (he just acts like a whiny bitch to throw us off). If this is indeed based on your life Phil, tell your daughter she doesn't have to strip to pay her bills, she can live with me.

That conjures up an extremely humorous mental image. Imagine Phil, sans shirt, yelling at some guy... "who the f*ck do you work for!?!?" and then jumping up and breaking the guys arm.

That's the exact mental picture I had while posting. Then as Hellmuth jumps up, he lands wrong and breaks his own leg then going into his familiar tirade only to find his mother around the corner ready to embrace him as he cries.

If it wasn't for luck, most winning players wouldn't be winning, because the bad players wouldn't be playing.
