Default Re: $30/$60 How Aggro Should I Play This Hand?

I'd raise the flop and (assuming he calls the raise and checks the turn) bet the turn.

In situations like this, I play the "cross-the-bridge-when-I-come-to-it" game, meaning that I only get worried if he calls the flop raise and the turn bet and I still have no hand after I see the river card.

did you recently win a lottery or something? i'm not commenting specifically that this hand was awful or whatever, it just seems like you're posting really generic limit questions but you're playing crap like 5-handed 30/60 on a tight site.

Bruiser I'd hate to say it but I agree with Astroglide. I've been kinda shocked at the type of hands you're posting, at the stakes you're playing, while knowing overall you're still pretty new to limit.

Default why would he be checking q10??

i think a raise 5 handed utg is best, the logic that he is calling u down w/ ace high is probably right, i dont see anything wrong w/ betting however, w/ at least 13 clean outs+ possibly more i like betting and the chance he might fold

i think betting the river here is correct. you have practically relatively little showdown value and he only has to fold 1:6.4 times for this bet to be profitable

Yah I know it's stupid of me to play $30/$60 but I'm doing it anyway. I'm coming from NL where I play higher stakes so it's hard for me to play 10/20.

Are my hands too basic and dumb for the mid-high limit forum? If so, sorry, I will cut back on my posts here.

If I recall, Jay posted a TON of hands, some of them basic, when just learning limit. Doing so is probably part of what allowed him to get so good so quickly...

Keep 'em coming.

i think they're too dumb and basic for 5-handed 30/60 because the answer is like 'do whatever and then stop playing that'. if you have to ask you shouldn't be ready for those games, which isn't like an insult it's just how it is. if you're going to play high try to keep it to full tables and you'll have a much better chance of getting decent answers to your questions.
