I may be heading down there on Thursday night to Saturday AM. Not 100% sure yet but I will most likely be there. If so I'll be staying at the Borgata playing 3/6. I hope to meet up with some of you for dinner or drinking.

Sure this happens, sometimes the rooms are booked solid. Did you try calling today? Maybe I got lucky?

Nevertheless, be sure to say "I'd like to book a poker rated room", otherwise it seems like they check standard reservations and tell you they're full.

I generally find that the poker rate rooms actually go quicker than the standard rate rooms. I have gotten standard rate when the poker rate wasn't available. I just didn't this time because I wasn't sure if I'd be able to put in the hours...at least I hope not...for the sake of my tourney life at Harrahs. [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]

OK, that's for Thursday night but keep in mind on weekends the rate of $125 is standard regardless of how many hours are played.

Do any of you guys know what time the $500 buy-in events will be starting on the 7th and 8th? I'm wondering about if/when they'll "sell out" and when satellites for them would stop running, etc. -- the 3.5 hour drive from DC might make it difficult to get up there in time on Friday.

Oh, and while I'm at it, I presume the one-table sats for the limit event on saturday are limit SnG's themselves, as opposed to NL?
