in the right spots capping with a lower set can be understood

I foolishly got involved with AJ on an A88 flop against pocket 8's in a pot limit game. Hit runner-runner Aces.
Doesn't get any luckier than that.

My favourite bad beat I put on some one:

NL holdem I decide to call a preflop raise with I think A7o since I think this guy is weak. Turns out he has KK.

flop: K Q Q

Raising and re-raising ensues.

turn: Q

more raising and re-raising.

river: Q

And I thought: "Hey, this is good, Iv'e got the nuts!"
