Re: FW 20/40 --- crappy top pair in BB v. SB flop bet
[ QUOTE ]
You're not going to get any K to fold to a flop raise in this game. He's got a shot with a turn raise. [/ QUOTE ] I particularly had no shot of getting any K to fold with a flop raise because I had raised the flop in a very similar spot out of the BB with Q3 in the big blind when it was top pair about an hour before and gotten called down by different SB's mid pair. scrub |

what was your plan if CO or button raised the flop? [/ QUOTE ] Asian guy: call/muck turn. Other guy: probably the same but I might call down if Nick cleared out to his turn bet. scrub |

Button must be Tony with the white hair and reading glasses. [/ QUOTE ] Button was an asian guy nobody seemed to know. Josh started asking him a bunch of questions and I think established that he was Vietnamese and named something like "sonny" although it could have been "Tony" too. scrub |

His cards must have been lousy as I think Nick can be a little too aggro at times. [/ QUOTE ] This makes me feel a lot better about the way I played the hand. I like the way I played it against someone who can be betting a weaker hand than mine into the field, but I don't like it if Nick can't have less than a decent king to be betting out. Anyway, CO and Button folded, Nick called and I took the showdown. He had KJ and HHWG. scrub |
