I'll be rejoining this Challenge next month. This month, poker may take a bit of a backseat to a few other things and I don't think my poker mentality would really fall in line with a challenge like this. Good luck to all though.

So, I missed out in December - pardon my ignorance

I gave an estimate on the hands I expect to play,

now what do I do besides play them? Am I trying to play more hands than the person I am paired with?

I played 28,054 hands online and 1610 hands live = 29,664.

I did, however, just complete a 21 hour session at commerce. From 6pm Decmber 31st to 3 pm January 1st. I think this should easily count for a bonus of 75,000 hands, bringing my bonus induced total to 104,664. HAH! take that sponger.

and a note on january, i think the team mentality will be good for my hand count. if cnfuzzd and collegeboy want to harass me into playing more hands, AIM me at DevonMint. Im sure that will help more than [censored] sponger asking "youre not even close to me, right?" jk [img]/images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img] You were a good opponent spongie

If it's not to late to get paired, sign me up. I'll play 16K in January. This will be a stretch given the other things I've committed to this month but my wife is fantastic and promised to hold me to my 4k/week goal. [img]/images/graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]

This challenge is just one more impetus; since I haven't picked an avatar here yet, I don't want my first one to suck.
