[ QUOTE ] You are an insane LAG who needs mental help. [/ QUOTE ] Pshhhhh. That's 39BB's in my pocket. You just wish you could feel the cards coming on like I can. [/ QUOTE ] Just because it worked out nicely doesnt mean its right. You shouldnt be proud of you play here (preflop that is) even though you are! |

[/ QUOTE ] No, I was near certain preflop was bad before I posted here. I was 4-tabling, and when I looked over at the time, it looked like I was getting better odds than I was. Regardless, everyone here is blowing the mistake way out of proportion. I was getting 6.5:1 on my first call, and 8:1 on my second call. The first call was a mistake, but after that, it's not nearly as cut and dry as the posters in this thread would have you believe. A flopped flush draw would be profitable, and I was getting the odds to draw on the flop to just that. There's also the straight draw, and the sort of flop I had in this hand. I don't plan on making this call preflop again, but it's nowhere near as large of a mistake as many of you seem to think it is. Especially considered how well I will get paid off if I do make a hand at these limits. Either way though, I just thought the hand was funny. I'm clearing bonuses here, who says I have to play serious? |
