I'm virtually out. Made an amateur play. Called a preflop raise in the SB with AQs. Flop is comes A high, I check, he bets, I check-raise. He re-raises (I should have folded here), I pushed for my remaining 600. He calls with AKs, and I'm down to 10 chips.

Sad, because two hands later I quadrupled up to 40 (wheeee) when I flopped a straight with JTs.

40 chips and a chair, lol

I would have raised and not limped, given this it's hard for the villan to put you on a hand such as TT. GL All

already had to dump JJ twice, make that three times as abugriffin raises 100 utg, someone reraises for 570 all in, and I dumped it....blehh

I took a lil break for family, and am at 1330, surprisingly. I had 3 guys talking to me before the game started, then someone mentioned 2+2, and all the sudden they are laying down hands to me. Sweet.

I'm done. Folded to me in the CO. I have A9o. I push for 120. SB re-raises to isolate. He has TT. 9 on the flop, but it's not enough and I'm out.

Man, I made a dumb play earlier. Going to hit the PokerRoom 15k Guaranteed now and see if I can play some better poker.

Was this a good laydown?

MP2 with AKs. MP1 calls 20 (he's very LAG), I raise to 100. Short stack (570) pushes all-in. DonButtons_ says "interesting," people at the table tell him to fold and stop wasting their time, blah blah blah. Everyone folds to me. I fold.

I feel like this is probably a no-brainer, but would like a little confirmation (or criticism). I've been tilting hard lately...

QTd in late position, lots of callers, flop comes KJ9 rainbow. Early guy bets 80, guy to my right calls, I call. Pot is now 350. Turn comes Ad (now there are two ds on the table). Early bets 350, I raise to 700 (basically putting him all-in, he had 70 chips left). He pushes, I call.

He had KJd.

J comes on the river.

I now have 300 chips. DonButtons__ said it best: "ouch."

Should I have raised the flop? I rarely slowplay, and every time I do I ge screwed...

Its funny, after I just made a post on here saying never to slow play, I slow play my set of 9s on a nice high board, to run into a runner runner wheel.
