Sell weed. You can buy a pound wholesale (at a good price) for between $2500-$3000. Sold by $20 gram you would gross about $9000. Even if you have to sell $50 eighths you would still be able to sell the whole pound for like 6 grand. Plus selling weed is not really that dangerous compared to selling coke or breaking in to OTHER people's houses. And you are young enough where you could establish a clientele pretty quickly. Just a thought.

Dude, if the man had $2500-$3000 he would NOT be asking for advise on how two build his bankroll. He started to years ago on a roll 1/3 that size. I appretiate the advocation af MJ though, and nice way to subtly squeez it into a poker theory thread.

Toby, have you considered selling your car? Sell anything you can (besides maybe your poker books) to get back on your feet. Take out a loan if you have good credit. A line of credit from your bank is lower interest than a credit card advance.

When you do start rolling again, see if your Casino offers a player's bank or front money account. There are no service charges, and your staple bankroll never leaves the casino (which is probably among the most secure of buildings in your city).

Good luck, and sorry about your bad news.
P.S. ALL people don't suck. There is good in humanity, so seek it out.

Sometimes you really have to sift through the forums to get the real gems. The "Sell Weed" post might be the best I've ever read - I'm not even sure if I'm being sarcastic or not.

Good Stuff Stang.

Default And......action!

Toby goes over to his friend's house and says

"You won't believe this. They just robbed my house and stole all money. $9K. Now I'm flat busted, broke. You believe it? Broke. What should I do?"

"Wow. Bummer dude. Want to smoke a joint?"

"Definitely. It doens't matter if I get wasted. I have no job. What am I going to do now?"

Three beers and two fat joints later the friend says -

"Hey. I got an idea. You can buy a pound of weed for like $2500 and turn it into $6000 quick and easy. No hassles. That's it! You should start selling weed man!"

Toby looks at him, asks himself wtf he's still doing hanging out with this f*ckn imbecile, realizes it's because he gets nice chicks and always has weed and replies "You know what? That's not a bad idea. That might work. You got another beer?"
