I can imagine if they didn't allow them to use sign language then there could have been issues with the american disabilities act. However this is on a Reservation so I don't know.

As long as they aren't signing while still in the pot I don't see a big issue with this. ASL is fairly common, so if there was an issue with collusion I imagine that the tapes could be reviewed

I suppose deaf people need to talk. However, I wouldn;t be too happy at the table with a bunch of guys making hand signals to each other during the play of a hand.

A friend of mine (rustedcorpse) told me that he played at the Taj with a blind girl one night. He said her dad was behind her telling her what the vards were.

I wouldn't be too worried about it unless they flipped you the bird after every pot they won, then I'd be pissed
