Rather than waiting for the good doctor, read what Nick Foxx wrote as it covers the basics. Some people play (or at least think they play) better while on them, so they do it. Others are just addicted and can't help themselves.

If you are waiting for the good doctor because you feel that his response will help you in some way, perhaps talking to someone one on one will be more productive and allow you to get immediate answers to any other questions that you have.

btw - Anyone remember the "WKRP in Cincinnati" espisode where Johnny got drunk and his reflex speed increased?
