Re: KTo in the CO -- Foxwoods 4-8
[ QUOTE ]
open raising with KTo in the CO is value betting at its finest [/ QUOTE ] I agree, this is definitely a value raise. I could easily pick up the blinds in this spot. I also could very well have the best hand here and raise for value. I believe my position also has a great effect in the value of my hand. I did neglect to mention that the button was fairly tight and the SB was an unknown. Even in a loose game, I think I raise in this situation every time. Joe |

Results
Since I don't have internet access at home yet, I'll post the results now.
This was one spot where calling the turn ended up being a mistake. My read was very wrong. He was taking a shot on the turn, and when I smooth called, I allowed him to draw. His KQo was good in the river. Thanks to everyone who responded. Joe |

Re: Results
Itīs only a mistake if he wouldnīt have bluffed the river.
If he could fold to a turnraise, but will bluff the river then calling is alot better since he may pay off the river raise when he hits a K or Q aswell. I like all of it. |
