To answer your question, how can you get more value when you bet/raised every time it was your turn?

Did you completely miss his obvious self 3bet/cap?

Wouldn't it be funny if his opponent flipped over a royal flush. That would be priceless.

Don't I need someone to raise before I can 3bet? (Just in case you're not being sarcastic)

If you don't know the answer to this, you've got a much bigger leak in your game than I thought.

Do you think you may have been able to get one more bet out of MP1 on the river?

If you mean by flatcalling the turn, no. MP1 was putting a play on me on the flop. I had folded to his agression a couple of hands earlier when my pf raise missed completely. As soon as I 3bet his flop c/r, he was done on the turn.

Oh, for those who care, CO had K7 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. MHIG

I'd fold the turn. My four aces always get cracked.

Maybe call the turn to keep MP1 in the hand, allowing them both to catch up. If they are on a Royal Flush draw and hit, thats gonna hurt. Very small chance of that. I think the way you played it is fine though.

I would've folded to the self 3-bet. No way I'm capping that against myself. That's just throwing chips at yourself.

Absolutely, plus those times in which you're already up against a strflush, you'll save yourself bets.
