Default Preparing to turn Pro

If you missed my earlier post I plan on making Poker my 1 and only career Jan. 1st. That post had a good response so from time to time I will update as to my progress.

If posters other than the couple that follow me around ask me to stop I will.

These last 2 months of the year before I leave my day job I am trying to build even bigger cushions in both my personal and Poker roll.

I am able to get about 4-5 hours each evening during the week and 8-10 on weekends. Weekend play is usually live but not always.

This is probably common sense but I can play patient and disciplined much longer when I haven't worked my other job. The day job drains brain power for reads, math, and my threshold for taking bad beats in stride.

My BBs per hour is higher on the weekend for both online and live. The "No man can serve two masters" I believe has relevance to performance.

One more thing to mention. A poster in my last post suggested that I learn more than hold'em. I am taking his advice and will dedicate 4 hours a week to strengthening my Omaha and stud game. Thank you for the suggestion (Can't remember if it was PM or post and he may not want name mentioned).

Thoughts and suggestions always are welcome. My Bison in heat will always welcome you in open arms.
