At least in the online rooms, it's just the same structure - antes and bring-in. You can bet up to the pot any time it's your turn though.
I think referring to 0.5/1 is misleading and caused by the rooms not changing their table setups from limit. ie it means the antes and bring in are the same size as if it was a limit 0.5/1 game. |

Hey, sorry about that, you did include stack size.
I think you should definitely push here. He is on a small stack and might push something less than aces here. -Michael |

If you think that this guy almost always has Aces, say that in the original post. To omit information like that and then call people "careless" for failing to glean it from the spotty information you do provide is counterproductive.

He said it was no-limit, not pot-limit.
See, I would have guessed that the ante was $.50 and the bring-in a dollar. But from his description of the action, that can't be it. If the bring-in is $.50, why is the minimum raise to $1.50? And why the hell did this guy raise to $2.50? |

A #1, if V really does the other aces, raise him all in. the other players will more than likely fold. You've isolated V with the possibility of out drawing him. Next, his chip count isn't all that high though not tourny play but ask for the truth. Finally, your kicker may not be all that great, however, he might just be raising for value. observe his play, then come to your conclusion. Besides, there is the 5 card rule! good luck the next time your confronted with similar situations. Peace
