Yeah, post hands. That is the best way (outside of bigger sample size) to discern between luck and poor play.
One cautionary note: 1/2 is a bit more loose and passive than 5/10 (at least as far as Party goes), so be careful about playing 1/2 like it is 5/10. I'd think you should still be profitable long term if you did so, but you certainly aren't going to be maximizing. In particular, you are playing too tight for 1/2 with a VP$IP of 20%. IIRC, a lot of those hands have 4 or 5 seeing the flop with no raise. You can limp a lot of hands profitably under those circumstances, espeially from button or CO (think baby pairs & medium SCs). |
