right, i mean.. by all means tip but, don't go crazy here. you are trying to make a living just like them.

Sure doesn't sound like it with the F the dealers comment. There are tourneys out there that dont take out anything for the dealers. In the tourneys that do take out for the dealers, the small buy-in tourneys in particular, it's a very small wage for the "workers". I use a simple rule. Very easy to remember and not much math involved. If the dealers treat me very well, I tip well. If they are rude, snappy, not paying attection to the game, acting like they'd rather be somewhere else, I don't. End of story. None of this "I tip 3%-5% and factor in dealer hours according to the phase of the moon bull&%$#". I treat them how they treat me.
