Re: Mythical river scenario
well i was assuming its nl, and i am as poor as i am now. i don't have enough money to make anybody fold, and i am not risking my life's savings at an outside(less than 1%) chance of being insanely wealthy.

Re: Mythical river scenario
I only bet if my opponents are all very poor players. If bet, call, call to me, I fold. If bet, fold, fold then I call if it is possible that the bettor would be on 22 or 32.

[ QUOTE ]
But I believe bluffing getting 2 billion to 1 would be worth it. Hey, they might fold! [/ QUOTE ] The only way they'll fold is if they get a heart attack from the excitement. IMO, they will fold less than 1 in 2 billion. |

Re: Mythical river scenario
I don't know much about casino play, (just what I read here), but isn't there less than 1 in a billion chance that the hand would be voided somehow (maybe two players turning over a K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] , or some dealer mistake, a fire alarm, something!?), and have to be redealt?
If it did, would the billion stay in the pot or would it go back to Mr. Bill, who would hopefully put it back? Maybe it would be foolish, but I just can't imagine giving up with a billion at stake. |

Re: Mythical river scenario
This question would be far more interesting if this were NL.
