If he's not careful, he might become The Dexter Manley of Poker.

Scott Matusow posted a lot on RGP regarding this. Search for S.Matusow (no space). It's pretty interesting.

And yeah 128 grams of COKE? Mikey!?! That was probably 10G's, just one WSOP buyin shoved up ya nose.

Not that I'm an expert or anything. But 1 oz is something like 28g, not 128. And more like $1000 not 10k. Still a lot of coke.

I'm curious if a felony conviction has any impact on his career. Does Nevada have any gaming regulations concerning felons?

I'll second what others said about meeting Mike - in the small amount of time I talked to him in Aruba, he seemed like a decent guy. He's kinda like the loudmouth guy you run into at the local bar - annoying at times, but fun to be around.

Sure, he might have a little bit of trouble if he wanted to get his sheriff's card and become a dealer but i dont think hes going to be doing that anytime soon.

Hey Daliman!

Yeah coke is fun in low doses, but TOO easily out of control/addictive.

For a poker player, it's ability to provide SUPERB alertness for hours has got to be very very very very tempting especially for high stakes players, but with the reward comes it's very painful and well documented risks.

Will give you an edge in a poker tournament, but in the long haul, it's -EV.

Eh, dunno that he was using as a poker enhancer, but anything that makes you feel that on edge and good prolly +EV in a game where aggression is rewarded over short term, for sure.

P.S. Dunno if you got 128g from another source, but 1 oz is only ~28g.

LOL! I am on new meds, WOW that was bad math, thanks for the correction, last I knew it was $90-$100 a gram, I figured in a quantity discount.

I am still not ready for the metric system.

For me it was concentration heaven and light relaxation and that was about it, you might be thinking about effects of CRACK.... a different animal, and something to be avoided!!!

I was joking about the EV btw. and I still don't recommend it!

I'm older and wiser now...

No impact, unless he has a probation officer and is restricted on his travel, which in this case I doubt applies....

Unsavory characters are attracted to poker for this reason, I am sure...
