Thanks for all replies. They have been very helpful.
Based on your answers that the hourly big swings are quite normal I'm not sure I will continue my try at 15-30. Poker is just a hobby for me and I don't have any aspirations going pro. Swings like the ones at 15-30 PP might get to me emotionally and I don't wanna go there. I believe it's better for me to go back 4-tabling 3-6 where the money wagered is insignificant and I can play stressfree winning poker.

I'm kinda in the same boat as you. I multitable 3/6 for the past 80k hands now and have decided to move up to 15/30. I've only played about 650 hands there total, but the swings are huge. I'm only 19 and this is all a lot of money to me. I have a heard time thinking in terms of BB, I just think in terms of my total bankroll. I dont know what I would consider a safe bankroll for me to give the 15/30 a serious try, but I only have about 15k right now and think I would like to be atleast 20k so if I lose 2k in the first day it wont feel as bad.

1800 is exactly right . . .
I'm still trying to work out of a 400 BB losing streak. Cant seem to put it together, almost ready to quit for good. If I lose another 100 BB, I'm done.

Well, I would probably try to quit sooner. Evaluation of your play is important after every session.
Are you making bad calls? You can blow off a a lot of bets this way. Not by calling on the river in big pots, but by chasing when you know you're beat. Folding big pots? This can be devestating. Playing too many hands? A big error. I could mention many others. Quit is best. At least for a month.
