He's not sitting out, he just opened the table. You don't even have to be sitting at the table to receive the hand histories of it.

What kind of discrepancies in your stats could be caused by including hands you're not in? (Very slightly) more accurate information on your opponents? It's not going to update any of your personal stats unless you were in the hand....

If I'm understanding correctly, you have to actually be seated at the table, so this wouldn't work for too long before you got booted from the spot.

To clarify: you have to be sitting at the table for it to start logging hand histories to your hard drive. If you sit out it still records them but eventually you will get booted from the table and the logging will stop. Paradise is like this too, as long as you are seated you get the hand histories for all games at that table, even ones you aren't in. And there will be no discrepencies, if you aren't in the hand, it won't affect your stats.
