Re: Showing your hand VS mucking
I agree with showing a bluff to put someone on tilt but you must know the player. This works best when playing live.

I don't show, and I tell people who asked what I had that they have to pay to see it. Hopefully, this makes them mad.

Re: Showing your hand VS mucking
I never show my hand ... EVER!
I do however tell people Good Laydown regardless if it was the nutts or a bluff. |

Re: Showing your hand VS mucking
I show more than most people, although not a lot. I like to show weak tights when they lay down and I had a great hand, and I like to show lags when I fold and had an ok hand.

Re: Showing your hand VS mucking
I agree with Adam, I typically see it when someone is showing a bluff, and I read it as just a nonverbal way of saying "I outplayed you out on that hand". Now what does that accomplish, other than get people looking to take you down every time your in hand.

Re: Showing your hand VS mucking
I only straight flushes, royal flushes, and quads, because i like that nice warm fuzzy feeling you get when everyone at the table says "NH"
