Spirit Rock is not as consistent as he appears. Just because he has $35,000 at a table, doesn't mean he's up $30,000. He rebuys constantly, and before he builds up his big stack, he busts out plenty of times. Sometimes for fun I save hand histories from the big game in to Pokertracker, and there was one session about a week ago where he was sitting on a $25,000 stack, yet DOWN $30,000 for the night, because he had rebought so many times.

Of course, I don't mean to imply that he's not the Man... he's just not God. Also, let's not overlook the fact that he is the best online poker trash talker out there.

Does Spirit Rock lurk here? I can only assume he doesn't post/hasn't posted.

He didn't accuse him of anything, just raised the question. Get over it.

i'll do it every day and twice on sundays when somebody comes around and makes a statement like that. seriously i thought he was joking when he made it, because i usually consider people who play live 25-50 NL to be reasonably rational and responsible thinking people.

He merely suggested a possibility that is definately worth thinking about.

It's akin to saying "How DARE you accuse our Olympic sprinters of cheating? That's retarded! They are the best in the world!!!'

well, considering theres been tons of sprinters caught cheating and to my knowledge no 25-50NL players on UB. its a little different.

besides, if i'd accuse anyone of cheating, it would be you, mr 60bb/100 hands.
