Re: Mini Vegas Trip Report - Excalibur
The Excalibur 2-6 game is by far the easiest game in Vegas to beat. Capone turned me on to it and we raped it one afternoon for hours. On top of that, his QQ cracked by AA and I got to spin!

Re: Mini Vegas Trip Report - Excalibur
I think most of these small NL games have fixed buy-ins. At Mandalay you must buy in for at least $200 and at most $200.

How does the betting work?

Re: Mini Vegas Trip Report - Excalibur
Blind is $2. The next person can bet anywhere from $2 to $8 (Raise of 6). On any of the streets you can start the raising anywhere from $2 to 6. Often it was whatever the person grapped off his stack.

One blind?
And is there any reason to raise anything other than the max? |

Re: Mini Vegas Trip Report - Excalibur
Yep, one blind. The only reason I can think of not raising the max is to build the pot and not chase away anyone not yet in. As I said in my post though, the players there, once in, wouldn't fold their hand to a raise no matter what. So you might as well raise the max.
