ahh Yes, he did own me in that PLHE hand. He played it masterfully.

I still cant believe I convinced myself I had the odds to call the final 41 bucks. That's the only embarrasing part.

I'm really disappointed I missed out on at least coming by and meeting you guys (especially since I made the original post to begin with.. heh). The wife had to have outpatient surgery on Friday, though, so leaving the house for several hours on Saturday would definitely be -EV.. not to mention hazardous to my health.

Any plans to do it again?

I had a lot of fun, and I'm sure that we'll do it again sometime.

On the other hand, everyone played on a saturday night in a tough 3-6 game, instead of somewhere that they could have likely made a lot more money.

I'd like to do it again, but it will probably be at least a couple months.

depending on the limit you are playing here, i'd keep raising at least 50 times, if this is 10c/20c. but at $1/2 i'd go for 30 raises only. if at 3/6 i'd go for up to 10 raises. finally if this is something like 10/20, i'd go for 4 bet and call a 5 bet

"We've been playing dealers choice and so far we'd played 7 stud with a declare, pinneaple, and crazy fox"

I knew I should have copyrighted that damn game.

"I'd been playing real loosely and aggresively cause I get to play tightish every day and it's not all that much 'fun'."

I did the same thing at our L.A. 2+2 gathering. I lost. The only thing that made me feel a little bette is that Dynasty, also modifying his usual standards, actually lost more than me. Which wasn't easy.

On the hand in question, raise his ass one more time. Then meekly call his 5-bet.

Isn't this a textbook 4-bet and fold to a 5-bet situation? Am I missing something here?
