Re: Need some Advice on this AK hand
[ QUOTE ]
After the flop I would have gone all-in. No one raised pre-flop. The flop helped you not them. Your raise of $7.50 wasn't enough to effect the stacks of either caller, so they called. Had you gone all in they would have folded. [/ QUOTE ] ...MP1 flopped top 2. I don't think he's folding to a flop push |

Re: Need some Advice on this AK hand
O.K. I am new to this forum and I am not seeing the hand results that are in "white". How do I get this to show on my screen?

Re: Need some Advice on this AK hand
[ QUOTE ]
@JohnG- I'm interested to hear what reasons there are for limping [/ QUOTE ] It's related to the value of big unsuited cards on deep money, depth of money, number of players with postion to act behind you. It's a discussion I had with him a while ago. It does not include when there are antes or when the money is shallow. It is for when there are no antes, and the money is at least 20X BB. In which case opening in early position is normally best to limp. The composition of table does not matter in this respect. If it is raised behind you, you can either call, fold, or re-raise all-in, with depth of money having a big effect on the options open to you, and the final choice of option depending on other factors. The reason to limp, and intention behind it, is different with 70X BB compared to when it is only 25X BB etc. It's basically just much easier to play this way, on all depths of money above 20XBB with no ante. |

Re: Need some Advice on this AK hand
There is no other way to play it there with those small stacks.
What are you gonna do? Check/fold the turn with all that money in there aginst Party clowns? I like the PFR a little high I'd make it 2 bucks, but 3 is okay too. Flop bet, fine No worries there, 2 callers though. Any brick and you have to push the turn with mini party stacks. Gregg |
