Re: A new strong means weak play...
if people are less likely to give you credit, why make this move? i don't like it. any AK, AQ, and even AJ will call or push you here.

Re: A new strong means weak play...
Hi AZK, makes sense, but you have to give MP3 A LOT of credit to be able to lay down ace good kicker here.
If he calls the turn you are done with it no? edit - you have to be done with it |

Re: A new strong means weak play...
I don't tend to try getting people off of an ace unknown kicker. Doesn't happen often enough. Check/fold or continuation bet but the check-raise is just not credible

Re: A new strong means weak play...
Why not lead for 1/2 pot, if raised 3-bet? That shows way more strength than the PFR checkraising.

[/ QUOTE ] well... basically, he checked planning to give up... then when he saw that underbet (AZK is a serial pot bettor guy, most 2+2ers are...) and he thought, let me steal this pot! if i am villain i will push this turn with impunity here, but luckily, his opponenent sucked... so AZK won the pot and therefore played it perfect (psssh). |

Re: A new strong means weak play...
AZK, you made that turn bet thinking that Villain would fold an A or a draw?
