This is one tough spot, since you already called the flop. In the heat of battle I would call with my gutshot outs and pray that the bb doesn't re raise

Why do I think this is a very very easy fold? I think estimating you have 3 outs is a very generous estimate, and why can't the CO have 66 a lot of the time?

folding the flop seems pretty straightforward, I can't really understand calling.

Decent 50/100 6 max. I don't know any of the players that well, but all of them have done at least a little something that seems bad since I've been at the table. 2 folds, and the cutoff raises. I 3 bet with 99. Both blinds call, and the raiser calls. Flop 457 rainbow. sb checks, bb bets, original pfr calls, I raise, sb calls, bb 3 bets, now the pfr caps! I think this is very very bad for me, but I call 2 cold. Anyone fold here? Sb calls leaving himself with 2/3 of a big bet. Turn 8, no flush draws. Now the sb bets his $68, bb just calls, and the pfr raises again. So I'm face with 1 2/3 bets here. Call or fold? [/ QUOTE ] Ugh, I don't play much 6 handed, but this is tough spot. I think its a call on the turn with a chance you have 6 outs getting 10ish:1. I think the call of two more cold is more interesting. I think I would call like you did but I am not sure that is right. I would be feeling like I needed a miracle suck out there (against set or straight already), but I have the feeling my unfamiliarity with standard 6 handed play is putting me farther behind in my mind then perhaps we are........ |

Too much reverse-implied odds and all that math garbage for me to feel comfortable about my hand against all the field's hands. |

Gotta think a 6 or a 9 is a winner here no? Tough to come up with the exact blended outs, but I want to count at least 3 6's (someone may have one or may not, but I think my 9 high striaght is the winner 95%ish). I think at least 50% a set of 9s would be good - so at least 1 more there. That gives me at least 4 outs and I'm gettign just better than 10:1 ( i think) so I am only .5 outs short (and 3.5 and 1.5 doesnt seem crazy to me so that would be 5). All in all I think it is close and cannot complain too much about either. If we consider variance reduction perhaps a fold is better......
