Re: Hand reading excersise
I think you got it. We know that QQ is right, and somebody guessed QQ, JT, 66 and got 2 out of 3. I don't know why nobody thought of the 77.
Edit: I still don't like the 66 from a reasonable player. |

Re: Hand reading excersise
[ QUOTE ]
1. QQ 2. non-idiot i hope wouldn't limp J9 but that sounds right as well as a set of 77s. if i have to do with "non-idiot" then 77. idiot factor: J9. 3. 66 [/ QUOTE ] This is correct. QQ, J9o, 66. I meant non-idiot as in he will not raise/reraise with nothing, but limping J9o isn't to smart either. Congratulations. |

Re: Hand reading excersise
[ QUOTE ]
Hand 1: QQ. Don't see any other hand he's capping with and then just calling down with a K high flop. Hand 2: Difficult, but since he's so aggressive at the flop and even when a heart flush is possible, I'm guessing J9 of hearts. Hand 3: I'm thinking he either hits something on the turn, or he has a monster and doesn't want to knock people out (A checkraise on the flop or the turn would be perfect for protecting). However, with two clubs on the flop, I'm not really sure why someone would want to slowplay a set. So I'm leaning towards him hitting on the turn, not wanting to risk it getting checked around and fearing both a club and a heart flush. I think 66 or 6x, if I have to choose one, I go for 66. [/ QUOTE ] Oops, missed this one . Very good work. Obviously the suits in hand 2 doesn't matter much here. Great reasoning on hand 3. |

grunching:
1: QQ/JJ 2: 77/A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]x[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], but almost certainly 77 3: J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] or something similar (why did you not raise pf?) |

Re: Hand reading excersise
*Grunch*
In order of liklyness I've asumed there pretty loose and passive.. 1, QQ/JJ/AKs(weak/fearing KK) 2, 77/flopped straight(J9 Etc)/TT(Very unlikly) 3, T6(very loose!)/66(Chaser)/K6(raised flop no?) Only want to mention 3possibles as theres loads to mention.. but kind of ruins the point of "Hand reading" turns into "Shot in the dark". |
