What do you do if BB folds instead of calling? These are the kinds of fairly basic situations I still feel uncomfortable with. Readless I'll usually fold but I'd like to see what other say.

I'd fold anyways. Flush draws, OESDs and most gutshots have at least 10 outs against you. Even a flat out bluff usually has 6 outs. I think the pot's too small to hope that it's a non-made hand AND you don't get outdrawn by the river.

fold, even if you do have the best hand after the BB calls(unlikely), your equity is not particularly high.

this is more complicated if BB folds. you cannot fold regularly here or else you'll simply be runover whenever you raise preflop and low cards come. this is really read dependent, but calling down to the river is the worst thing you can do against most opponents. if you're to continue you usually want to pop in a raise either on the flop or turn. but again, against tighter / predicatable players release on the flop, and pop the LAGs .. against the crazy LAGs, fold preflop.
